Birth of the project
The project started at the University of Liège, initiated by three passionate students as part of the Startech program. The initial idea: develop GPS-connected glasses for bicycle delivery workers.
First steps and MVP
Incubation at VentureLab and first pilot projects with BPost. Development of the first functional prototypes and first sales with aRdent 1 connected glasses.
Industrialization and fundraising
First fundraising round and entry into Ignity (formerly WSL). Industrial pilots in collaboration with Pôle Mecatech at Safran, Alpha Innovations and Trasis. Development of aRdent 2, a robust and industrialized version of the product.
Opening to the hospital sector
Collaboration with Citadelle de Liège to address specific needs of hospital pharmacies: traceability, error reduction, flow optimization. Launch of Picking Pilot software.
New logistics projects
Launch of aRdent ScanPad with integrated scanning function, in partnership with our first distributor Etilux. Hands-free technology opens up to logistics to improve traceability.
Hospital expansion
Deployment of aRdent solutions in other Walloon hospitals for wider adoption of hands-free technologies in hospital pharmacy.
