Get Your Way at the 30th EAHP Congress in Barcelona

From 18 to 20 March 2026, the hospital pharmacy community gathered in Barcelona for the 30th Congress of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists. Get Your Way was there, with a full booth and a strong team, to meet the people who are shaping the future of medication safety across Europe.

What is the EAHP?

The European Association of Hospital Pharmacists represents over 30,000 hospital pharmacists across 37 member countries. It is an association of national organisations whose mission is to develop the hospital pharmacy profession in Europe, so that care and outcomes for patients keep improving in the hospital setting.

Each year, its congress brings the profession together around science, education and best-practice sharing: scientific sessions, poster presentations, masterclasses and an exhibition where technology providers and hospital teams meet. For a company like ours, focused on medication traceability and picking in hospital pharmacies, it is simply the place to be.

Why we were there

A congress of this scale is rare: it concentrates in one place exactly the people we work for and with.

• To meet our clients, current and future. Barcelona was the occasion to reconnect with the hospitals already using our solutions and to talk with many teams discovering Picking Pilot and aRdent ScanDisplay for the first time.
• To understand the state of the sector across borders. Conversations with delegations from other countries, notably Finland and Italy, gave us a clearer picture of how medication traceability is evolving outside Belgium and France, and where the common challenges lie.
• To meet the other players in the field. Hardware vendors, software editors, robot manufacturers: the congress is where the whole ecosystem stands side by side. Putting faces to names and exploring how our solutions fit alongside automated pharmacy systems is invaluable.

The Get Your Way booth was a meeting point for partners across the hospital pharmacy ecosystem, from software editors to pharmacy robot manufacturers.

A strong Belgian delegation

One of the highlights of this edition was the size and energy of the Belgian delegation of pharmacists. Seeing so many familiar faces from home in Barcelona was a real source of pride, and a reminder of how active the Belgian hospital pharmacy community has become around traceability.

Get Your Way matched that energy with a strong delegation of its own. Pierre, Morgane, Nicolas and Theo held the booth across the three days, running demonstrations on aRdent ScanDisplay and Picking Pilot, with the Belgian flag never far from the counter.

This edition was special for Theo, for whom it was the very first event of this kind. Meeting so many pharmacists at once, hearing their daily realities and demonstrating our solutions over three intense days was a great way to step into the sector. And once the congress closed, the journey continued: Theo set off to explore France, starting from Paris.

See you in Vienna

The 31st EAHP Congress will take place in Vienna next year, and we will definitely be there. After Barcelona, we are more convinced than ever that the future of medication safety is built by meeting the profession where it gathers.
