The Rise of a Startup in a Competitive Tech Market
From Vision to Reality: The founding of Get Your Way
Get Your Way (GYW) was founded in March 2019 by three students with a passion for entrepreneurship. The project began as part of the startech program at the University of Liège, where the team developed the concept for a connected smart glass aimed at guiding cyclists and runners during their outings. This innovative idea helped them reach the final of the competition and ultimately win the first prize in October 2019.
The success of this initial project sparked a drive for innovation and entrepreneurship within the team, leading to joining the VentureLab in March 2020. Throughout the year, the team developed the first prototype, created an application for their first client, and officially launched the company in December 2020.
Standing out through simplification
Get Your Way's approach of simplification and democratization of the technology has helped the company stand out inside a competitive market dominated by tech giants.
In 2022, the company completed its first fundraising round with leading technology partners. This enabled the full-time dedication of a team, but more importantly, to set up their first on-site deployments and to participate in numerous projects with Pole Mecatech. Simultaneously, the company joined the Walloon technology accelerator WSL to continue to innovate and to grow.
Innovation in action: From MVP to Industry Deployment
After creating the first prototype in March 2022, aRdent achieved MVP status in May 2023. This version was deployed in industrial settings, providing initial measurements, valuable feedback, and confirming the feasibility and the impact of Get Your Way's solution.
In June 2024, the company leveraged these insights to launch aRdent 2, an industrial version of the product, alongside two software solutions: Process Pilot for procedure follow-up, and Picking Pilot for performing picking operations.
This release coincided with a second fundraising round, aimed at enabling broader deployment of the solution, particularly in hospitals—the first sector to benefit from a fully developed, in-house medication-picking solution by Get Your Way.

We believe that by democratizing such a powerful technology and making it accessible to a wider audience, we can improve the working conditions of employees and create a positive impact on the society.
We focus on simplifying technology and on the essentials. We understand that technology can often be complex and overwhelming, which is why we take a different approach. Instead of focusing on virtual, mixed, or augmented reality, we advocate for a simplified approach with assisted reality. This approach allows us to focus on the essentials and improves the user experience.
